Position Available: Full-Time, 1st Shift Finish Process Team Member. Placement may be in any of the Finish Positions with the potential to learn all the processes of the Finish Team: Hand, Machine, Scuff Sanding. Wipe Stain and Glaze. Potential Hand Spraying and Booth Operation. Helpful Background: Teamwork (working well with others, giving respect to others, willing to help others), good communication skills, proven good attendance, and attention to detail.  Preferred Background:  Prior experience with hand or machine sanders in a production setting.

Build Skills: On-the-Job Training

  • Learn the paints and stains offered at Crestwood, Inc. to our customers
  • Learn and understand Crestwood’s quality standards
  • Learn about “grit” – coarseness of sandpaper used with the jitterbug, hand sander, edge profile, and machine sanders
  • Learn the processes and production flow of the finish department 
  • Learn and adhere to department protocols (Safety, Quality)
 

Wages: START at $18.00 / Hour ($16.00 Base Pay + $2.00 / Regular Hour Worked Attendance Incentive). After the 60-day Training Period, Add 1) Certification Pay + 2) Production Incentive Pay. Add more Certification Pay (Up to $2.00 / hour) as new skills are obtained. Additional Growth: Technical Pay with skilled positions. Production Incentive Pay is based on achieving specific production targets. Production Incentive Pay ranges from $0.75 to $3.88 / regular hour. Production Incentives are also paid on overtime hours.

Schedule:  Monday-Thursday, 6:30 AM - 11:30 AM and 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM. 
*Fridays may be scheduled according to production needs.

Physical Demands: Regularly lifting is up to 25 pounds. If the material is large or heavy, do a 2-person lift. The area is fast-paced. You pull material from carts (above and below your shoulders), place it on the table, sand it, and then replace it on the cart. Move the cart to the following process, and repeat the process.
