Positions Available: FINISH HAND SPRAYER - PAINTSTATUS:  Full-Time   Summary: Hand Sprayers have the unique talent of an “eagle eye” for the sanding and finish process details. Background: Top Candidates have proven experience applying finish on wood, utilizing hand-held devices (spray guns) and other equipment. Proven expertise in solving finish issues and adequately cleaning equipment. Prior experience in sanding equipment is expected.

Wages:  $20-$23/Hour - Based on Proven Experience + Attendance. After a 60-day Training Period, Add 1) Certification Pay + 2) Production Incentive Pay. Add more Certification Pay (Up to $2.00 / hour) as new skills are learned. Additional Growth: Technical Pay with skilled positions. Production Incentive Pay is based on specific numbers being achieved in production. Production Incentive Pay ranges from $0.75 to $3.88 / regular hour. Production Incentive paid on overtime hours.

Schedule:  Monday - Thursday, 6:30 AM - 11:30 AM and 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM. (4 - 10 Hours Days).  ALSO AVAILABLE: 2nd Shift Position! Add $1.00 for Shift-Differential. Hours: 1:30 PM - 6:30 PM and 7:00 PM - Midnight, Monday - Thursday

Requirements:

  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to review products and materials during the manufacturing process
  • Read and use a mil gauge
  • Understand the correct thickness and how to make adjustments to the finish
  • Able to multi-task projects, work with deadlines, and understand priority changes
  • Communicate verbally or in written form.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Follow safety requirements
  • Desire to produce quality parts
  • Willingness to listen to and receive instruction
  • A desire to learn and retain information
  • Ability to transport up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Able to remain stationary for long periods
  • Willing to learn the Crestwood finish colors, paints, processes, and hand-spray techniques

 

Responsibilities:

  • Be able to work effectively and courteously with co-workers
  • Understand and follow safety guidelines, including wearing company-provided protective equipment
  • Provide regular and consistent attendance - be on time for the work schedule
  • Contribute to the creation of quality parts as defined by company-provided quality standards
  • Willingly participate in all training
  • Be motivated to achieve production targets and other key performance measures
