Positions Available: Full-Time, 1st Shift Receiver. This position is for the "Organized" personality type. Helpful Background: Previous experience in receiving, shipping, warehouse, or manufacturing is preferred. Candidates should have strong attention to detail, experience verifying shipments and maintaining inventory accuracy, basic computer skills, and the ability to safely handle materials in a fast-paced environment.
Wages: $18.75 / Hour ($16.75 Base Pay + $2.00 / Regular Hours Attendance Incentive). After the 60-day Training Period: Production Incentive Pay. Technical Pay with skilled positions. Production Incentive Pay is based on specific numbers being achieved in production. Production Incentive Pay ranges from $0.75 to $3.88 / regular hour. Production Incentive paid on overtime hours. In addition, Technical Pay at Level 1 adds $0.50, L2 adds $1.00 and L3 adds $1.50.
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:30 AM - 11:30 AM and 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM.
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse, receiving, shipping, or inventory experience is helpful but not required.
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to accurately receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.
- Basic computer skills and experience using inventory or warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and understand packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documents.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis occasionally 75 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with team members and vendors.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Commitment to following all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to navigate VPT and VPO computer systems. (On the job Training Provided)
- Ability to research and negotiate vendor pricing.
- Research and negotiate shipping costs, to include back hauls on company trucks.
- Maintain a clean and organized supply room.
- Deliver supplies in house to various cells / hubs.
- Communication to the following:
- Vendors / Suppliers
- Black Bird Shipping Coordinator - assigns truck routes for back hauls.
- Accounting - responsible for auditing purchases and maintaining financials.
- Crestwood Department Managers and Cell Leaders - orders in house supplies to various cells / hubs.
- Crestwood Customer Service - ordering non stock items for Crestwood customers.
- Crestwood Divisional Management
- Maintain a valid Kansas Driver's License and be cleared to drive a company vehicle. This position requires shopping locally for supplies.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The employee frequently is required to walk, stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch. The employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
