                                $16.00 Start (this is just the beginning!) + Up to Additional $1.00 for Attendance Incentive
                                

Growth:                 Certification Pay up to $2.00 + Incentive Pay ($0.75 - $4.50) + Technology Pay (certain positions)

Available:             1st Shift, Full-Time (40+ Hours)
                               7:30AM - 4:00PM, Monday - Friday.  Extended hours and Saturdays per production needs.

                                Crestwood, Inc. is proudly based in Salina, Kansas for 53 years! Paul Junk co-founded
                                the company in 1969 to bring quality cabinetry to Salina. Over the years, the business

Purpose:                Panel Prep Team Members are the front line of parts and pieces for our customer’s custom cabinetry.
                                Panel Prep takes each piece of the cabinet and ensures parts are shaped, cut, measured to the precise
                                size. Panel Prep utilizes various saws and shapers for this process.

Job Details:                Panel Prep Team Members pull, sort, and cut lumber/plywood to various measurements. They
                                    learn how to be efficient, choose lumber to Crest[wood] standards and ready the lumber for
                                    the next process: finish, building, shipping. Helpful Background: Experience with saws, various
                                    machine operation, knowledge of U.S. linear and metric measurements, some calipers. We are
                                    looking for people with proven manufacturing process experience and are: 1) Willing to learn
                                    different machine operations/processes, wood species, different cabinet parts; 2) Work with others
                                    in positive communication; and, 3) Be On Time & Reliable!


Build Skills:         Not everyone knows about cabinetry – that is okay! We can help people searching “for something new”.
                              You can build skills at Crestwood or bring basic wood shop skills to:

  • Learn what is “custom” cabinetry
  • Learn or add to skills/knowledge of various industrial saws and shapers.
  • Learn the parts of custom cabinetry and the assembly process.
  • Learn and understand what it takes to meet Crestwood’s quality standards
  • Learn and then maintain production flow at an appropriate rate
  • Learn and adhere to department protocols (5S and Safety)

Physical                     On a regular basis, the lifting is up to 50 pounds; some areas may be up to 25
                                    pounds. If material is large in size/heavy - do a 2-person lift! You pull material from bunks/forklifts and
                                    carts (above and below your shoulders), place on saw or table, measure, cut or shape, move to next area. Nutshell: Walk, 
                                    Lift, Bend, Squat, Pull - it's a workout!

                                    Safety/Personal Protective Equipment - Work Safe For You & Others! Lift properly, use tools in 
                                    safe manner, wear eye and hearing protection.

Schedule                    7:30AM - 4:00PM, Monday - Friday.  Extended hours to the regular work day and Saturdays scheduled per production needs.
