Positions Available: Full-Time, 2nd Shift Automated Molder Operator. Automated Molder Operator is responsible to process rough cut lumber into dimensional molding utilized for door and face frame material, decorative moldings and other various moldings used throughout production areas. Helpful knowledge/skills: Mechanical Aptitude, Forklift Operation/Certification, Detail Oriented and Quality Focused.

Background: Experience with saws, machinery operation, knowledge of U.S. linear and metric measurements, some calipers. We are looking for people with proven manufacturing process experience and are: 1) Willing to learn wood species, different cabinet parts, finish processes; 2) Work with others in positive communication; and, 3) Be On Time & Reliable!

 

Wages: $19.00 / Hour ($17.00 Base Pay + $2.00 / Attendance Incentive). After the 60-day Training Period, Add 1) Certification Pay + 2) Production Incentive Pay. Add more Certification Pay (Up to $2.00 / hour) as new skills are obtained. Additional Growth: Technical Pay with skilled positions. Production Incentive Pay is based on specific numbers being achieved in production. Production Incentive Pay ranges from $0.75 to $3.88 / regular hour. Production Incentive paid on overtime hours.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 3:30 PM- 8:30 PM- 9:00 PM - 2:00 AM. * Candidate may start on 1st Shift for Training purposes, usually for sixty (60) days, then transfer to 2nd Shift. The wage for 1st Shift starts at $18.00 / regular hour ($16.00 Base Pay + $2.00 Attendance Incentive). No shift differential while training on 1st Shift.

Requirements:

  • General construction experience utilizing saws, machine operation, and pneumatic tools is helpful. On-the-job training for candidates willing to learn with no experience.
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to review products and materials during the manufacturing process
  • Communicate verbally or in written form.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Follow safety requirements
  • Desire to build quality cabinetry
  • Willingness to listen to and receive instruction
  • A desire to learn and retain information
  • Ability to transport or lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Able to remain stationary for long periods
  • Willing to learn wood species, finishes (stains and paints), and cabinet parts for assembly.

  • Understand and follow safety guidelines, including wearing company-provided protective equipment
  • Provide regular and consistent attendance. Be on time for the work schedule
  • Contribute to the creation of quality parts as defined by company-provided quality standards
